I think it's just me but.. I feel like Eminem is the "true" white rapper.

He broke the boundaries, broke the stigma, broke against the racists.

I mean, I see rappers like Mac Miller (for example), and all I can do is just LAUGH.
Macklemore is cool, Copywrite is an alright dude, Nollie is pretty cool too!

But.. it just seems to me like the whole "white rapper" thing isn't as amazing as it was back when Em was in his prime.

Jesus fucking fairy tale Christ, the fact that this is the first thread I saw when I decided to randomly log back on to TR is really a bad sign.

This is one of the stupidest fucking things i've read in a while, you do realize The Beastie Boys were already popular white rappers years before Eminem blew up? Hell, them blowing up gave him confidence that he could blow up as well.

On top of that alot of white rappers were already making music before Dre ever knew who Eminem was, including: Copywrite, Cage, Slug, Eyedea, Aesop Rock, Diabolic, Vinnie Paz, Apathy, Necro & Ill Bill. Need I fucking go on? On top of that half of them had the "crazy white boy" image as well, it's a Hip Hop cliche, Eminem did not invent that image, he simply marketed it right.

Do you realize Copywrite or Diabolic could have easily been what Eminem was if they were discovered by Dre instead? They were on the same skill level as Em when he was discovered by Dre, with the right image & promotion they could have blown up just like Eminem did. If it wasn't Eminem it would have been another white rapper on that level of skill with that style.

Well, this topic in conclusion, no; no one else is tired of all the white rappers coming out.

It's like you are expecting that since white rapping is more acceptable now, all the white rappers WON'T try and get noticed. And it's been 11 years since Eminem blew up. I'm pretty sure by now we shouldn't really have to think "Oh this guys white so he's following in Eminem's footsteps".

Eminem the ground breaking MC came to fame due to Dre who was.... black? If Dre hadn't heard his tape he wouldn't have been been that famous. Then the "real white rapper crown" would have gone to some one else.

Listen to some UK White Rappers, they are better than then most of the so called black rappers coming out.
