Great beat to me... sounds like it's creeping up on you constantly and it has utilized silences. It's very atmospheric and affecting. I love it.

I had always taken production and Dre for granted in regards to Em's work. Then when I heard Recovery I realized how good Dre was (due to how shit those producers were).

Some of those beats are some of his most original too, I love "Medicine Ball".

Yeah Dre is great, but I disagree on the latter part of your post. Just Blaze is one of the best ever, DJ Khalil is one of the best in the game right now, Jim Jonsin is amazing with his samples, & synthesizers, Alex Da Kid is not bad, the Havoc beat is dope, & Hav is one of the best beatmakers too, Bo1da is the absolute worst. Even though I love the Seduction beat & the song itself, aside from that he's awful overall as a producer.

Great beat to me... sounds like it's creeping up on you constantly and it has utilized silences. It's very atmospheric and affecting. I love it.

I like the creeping up on you part, but not the silences. It's utilized shitty in my opinion. I don't like a beat to stop every 5 seconds in a 3-5 minute beat, I like instruments in the beat to be constantly playing, know what I mean.
