I doubt they visit the Hip Hop domain.

It's winning because of the people who appreciated the album.

this. I can't understand the hate on Radioactive, it's an amazing drop that should've shut up alot of haters, but turns out they hate him cause they hate him, no matter how good his music gets

Radioactive is Yela rhyming over beats that don't suit his style, the hooks are generic, Yela definitely toned it down on here too, Pop The Trunk has more quality than most of the album put together.

I can understand people enjoying the album, of course, but the amount of hate Yela got on here BEFORE that album dropped was incredible, and those of us that were fans of Yela before Radioactive where mostly let down by it.

I think the Youtube reviewer "The Needle Drop" nailed the album with his review
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Lello wrote:I like the beats tbh, I love the hooks, and even if the songs weren't his exact style, I thought he done well in what he was attempting, I liked Yela before Radioactive, but I appreciated him even more after the album dropped, All I can say is that I haven't stopped bumping the album since it dropped

And that's all that matters man, keep on enjoying it :y:

It's just for me, it was a step backwards for Yela, but it was aimed for mass appeal and seems to be achieving that
