Better Artist Overall- 50 or Ja Rule?

50 Cent. Yeah, he started unnecessesary beefs for attention, but Ja Rule did that worse. Plus Ja Rule imitates DMX and 2Pac 2much. Plus, as Sam said, 50's music is more enjoyable.

anyways, what I hate is people who think street cred wins beefs. seriously listen to this (from an idiot's website): "Benzino won the beef. Em would beat him in a lyrical battle, but he has NO STREET CRED, he's a beyatch". it was something along the lines of that. *sigh* people don't understand that Rap is about being lyrical, not shooting people for looking at you and selling crack.

Whoa Massacre wasn't horrible that album had a lot of bangers, Curtis was horrible and BISD was ok.

Ja had a very good run, but his shit was boring while 50 knew how to make someone get up and bust a move when his music is played.

Ja = Fat Joe, with that being said, they're both great but they didn't have any impact on rap (i'm not talking about the buzz btw).
When 50 released "How To Rob" everyone, including DMX! got mad and scared at the same time, 50 was a real dude until fame got to him

So for me, it's 50. And Power Of The Dollar > Ja's life.

I'm not looking at it from the wrong angle first off. I'm looking at it like, ok one or two club songs, nice, but every goddamn song with the same feel? Boring.

He's not a innovative artist, he does the same types of songs ALWAYS. And about the Ja copies DMX's style. A lot of people do that. Jay-Z bites, so he steals styles, Eminem I heard stole his style in teh SSLP from the Outsidaz, etc. That doesn't make the music bad imo, just means you resemble another artist.

I look at it like 50's boring, same club shit, nothing new. Ja actually makes different types of records- club records, gritty records, etc. 50 does 50 club songs & a song talking about guns to make him seem gangster, when in reality he lives in Connecticut. Jada slayed him btw.
