Yeah....
I guess it was ok..
Still a pretty bad album compared to other releases, but I've heard a lot worse than it.

it's got a couplegood punchlines, but it was dissapointing. I like "Megaman" and a couple others. he made some bad choices on the album, though. why didn't weezy make all the interludes one big posse cut? that would've been the smart thing to do

but srsly doe, Mirrors is the only listenable song on the album.

+ that Self-made remix of interlude+outro (without Shyne, my god he's horrible)

^ Have to agree with Lity.

Mirrors, John, 6'7 and the interlude/outros were okay to great.

John Legend's hook on So Special is disgustingly good, every guest (bar Shyne) kills it actually, the beat slection is nice, my problem with this is Wayne does nothing much on here at all, he just coasts along

I did like this at first, but that was mainly because this was the best shit Wayne had done since No Ceilings, but listening to Run This Town, Single and Swag Surfin', man, this album can't touch his past work, and I'm not even going to mention stuff from C1/C2/Da Drought 3/Dedication 2

Still C4 was a return to form, of sorts anyway
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

C4 was a very enjoyable album and got way too much hate.

President Carter was the best song on there for the outro alone

I really enjoyed C4. I'm not a fan of Current Weezy, but I'm a fan of Old Weezy. Huh. It's kinda the same situation with Eminem, now that I think about it. Only thing is, I'm still an Eminem fan. :sweating: The Intro, Interlude and Outro were especially dope. I'd give it.. 3.5/5.

Honestly, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I feel that Wayne's been getting lazier and cocky since C3. I mean C2 he was cocky, but he was still great. Now it's like the dude fell so hard not even Life Alert can help him. At least, that's how I see it.

He's resting on his fame to do the trick tbh.And the fact that he sells a Million in the 1st week adds to his over confidence.

That's what I'm thinking. However, I hear a lot of people are saying that he's horrible (YMCMB fans!) so maybe one day he'll up his game.

Either that or he's permafried from microwaved cough syrup. :coffee:

I can't respect that dude on any of his accomplishments, not when a generation are growing up listening to him believing he's anything close to real Hip-Hop...
