His ear for beats is what keeps him away from being perceived as a great emcee these days. It is shocking how bad his beat selection has been ever since the release of The Cool in '07 (although I'm positive the anti-hip hop label Atlantic Records has a lot to do with it).

I can only speak for myself but as long as he insists on choosing these amazingly unoriginal type of beats, I won't care for his lyrics at all. Albeit being full of mediocre beats, I can still enjoy Paid in full but this shit is unbearable.

I disliked most of the beats on both Lasers and FOTP, but I think this one is dope. The beat selection on FOTP didn't ruin it for me though, but I can't say the same for Lasers especially because it was an album. If, however, the same ish happens with F&L I'll change my username to Shitty Fiasco to say the least.

I agree he is awful with beats, but Food & Liquor's beats were good. Daydreaming= amazing beat, & I liked beats like Sunshine as well. On topic, love this song, dope shit :y:.
