Rappers You Like & Your Expectations

Take a look at your list of favorite artists and see which ones are most likely to meet your expectations with their next release, or if we go with opposites - least likely to disappoint you. Nas, Common and Kanye have shown great consistency but I think my only safe bets are Hopsin and Elzhi.

Right now Elzhi, Joe Budden and Kendrick Lamar.

I know Elzhi or Budden won't disappoint, and I hope Kendrick doesn't.

Hmm, I'd say Nas for absolutely obvious reasons. With the exception of parts of Streets Diciples and N*****, he has been fire for a decade now, and the Nasty single was him proving himself once again. He once talked about the Life Is Good album having a musical feel of the 90's and collaborations with legends such as Scarface so there is no doubt in my mind that this is going to be something special.

Talib Kweli is another one I expect great things from. Gutter Rainbows wasn't his best album by any means but it had its fair share of great songs. The soulful beats somewhat made up for the, in my opinion, boring songwriting. Prisoner of Consciousness sounds like a great concept.

Oh, and of course Saigon. His next mixtape has just gotten its official release date and if he stays the same, this is going to be another memorable release from the NY native. One of the brightest hope for modern hip hop these days.

That's true. Some can be better than others too. Lil Wayne is just a perfect example too of a pop rap artist that can spit.

I'm expecting Sadistik to up his game and release some thing solid with his next drop, P4P was not at all satisfactory.
