For me, Grieves - Bloody Poetry is my song of the year.

If you have an ear for instruments you can hear how complex and amazing the instrumental is.. Live instruments mixed in with some digital sounds. Great beat. Amazing lyrics with Grieves's signature emotion. A smooth hook that sets a mellowdramatic tone. The beat is almost an oxymoron because it feels dark yet up-beat.

My second song of the year would be Atmosphere - Last To Say. There's a complexity in the simplicity of the instrumental that fits the song and vibe amazingly well. The realness in the message is amazing. Slug knows exactly how to put emotion into words. Not to mention that his physical emotion on the track is perfect.

Slaughterhouse's The Illest is slowly becoming one of my faves from the year. Fucking nasty.

Oh heeeeeeeeeeell no.

I'm going with Temptation. Cole's verse is dope but Kendrick absolutely slaughters it. There's not even a half decent version of this song out yet, but I've replayed the shit out of it.
It seriously has to be one of Cole's best beats ever. The jazzy tune just fits the theme and the execution perfectly and that choral part that draws itself throughout the instrumental is haunting.

I'm not a hardcore fan of either Apathy or Celph Titled, but this track standing alone, along with DJ Premier's banging production, I can't think of a track I both enjoyed and played as much as this one from this year.

Pretty good song. Ap's flow is always fucking impeccible. My only quarrell is that Celph bit Warbux. "Leave you dickheads covered in blood like period sex" -- Bux said that back in like 2005/2006, I don't remember. But it's on his soundclick battles. And being as warbux is the biggest, most well known internet battler, it's feasible.

That's a non-sequitor. How do two separate actions dictate the outcome of one another? A person watching WWE has no more bearing on a separate debate than a person being homosexual. That's a stupid assertion.

how the hell did u come up with this conclusion?

You couldn't even defend yourself properly, none of the reasons that you put up were convincing enough to prove that those Rappers aren't shitty.

He posted his song of 2011 and was accused that the artists he likes are shitty rappers, which in reality, they aren't - maybe not the best, but far from shit.

So is he supposed to let someone insult his interests and not do anything about it?

Exactly. He didn't say anything proper in his defense to the "so called insult", but at the end of the day it's his choice to give this the required attention or not. :y:
