Questionable Line in "Made In The USA"...

Postby Eedee » Nov 30th, '11, 16:37

Yeah in the hook the girl sings, "It's every mother's dream.... / to see her daughter on her knees"

Am I missing something? Daughter on her knees? :confusion: Why on earth would a mother WANT that let alone to SEE that?

This is why it annoys me when people say they don't like this song and state that it's because "it's corny". No it's not.

First of all, she means sucking dick. A few lines before Yelawolf says "From the stripper pole swinging, daughter in the red light" Now what does that mean? Red Light = Prostitution. She's sucking dick to make money.

2nd, the song is not only about how hard we have to work to make it in America, but how fucked up it is to make it in America. It's a combination, and the reason why the hook is "corny" is because it's supposed to be satirically patriotic.

I honestly thought it meant praying, but it seems like you're right.

Well, it makes it even better. I wish it was a single with a music video..

It's a really good song. The only thing I don't like about it is Yela's short ass verses. "Guntoting, church going, 18 wheel rolling *cue in hook about to start*, AND THATS HOW ITS MADE.

I think that it would be something like "JayZ - Empire State Of Mind". Idunno but that's just my thoughts lol.
