Tech N9ne -"To Me, Eminem Is Like The Top Lyricist For Real"

This past fall, Tech N9ne and Strange Music embarked on The Lost Cities Tour, hitting nearly every region of the country. While in Seattle, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko stopped in to Kube 93FM for an exclusive two-part video interview to discuss some of his biggest accomplishments in 2011.

In part one, Tech N9ne spoke on the many influences that have shaped his live shows and how hard they work to perfect each tour. Tech then reflected on his meeting with Lil Wayne and his critically acclaimed appearance on Tha Carter IV, even taking a moment to spit part of the verse. When Eminem’s name was mentioned, Tech discussed his admiration for the Detroit icon, calling him “a murderer”. Tech expressed his excitement over Eminem mentioning his name, which fans may recall happened earlier this fall. With so may accolades coming his way, Tech N9ne obviously has no problem giving out his own.

Em's recently agreed to do a song, but they couldn't because of unfortunate time issues. Then Em called Tech N9ne ill and crazy. Tech's always wanted Em. Tech says it's not a matter of his name, but he wants to make a "dream team" of people "on my side" in the game. Next up is Eminem. He said he'll need the beats to scream "Eminem" for him to get him though.

It'll happen. It has to. D12, Bizarre, Yela, Crooked, Royce, etc. have all worked with Tech. It's gonna happen sooner or later.

I never said that on the basis of me not liking Tech, lol, dude. He's talking about Eminem not being on that song way too much and I don't think tossing that topic is good because that puts an question mark on Eminem himself in a way, do you think that's good for their future? I don't think so.

If Eminem said he had no time for this(Or w/e was the reason that he used to put down the collab) then he(Tech) should have remained cool or brushed away the question every time he was asked about the song. Did he do that? No, this is 4th or 5th time he has said about this.

And yea, I like Tech and I don't hate him. If the collab happens and I happen to like Tech's Verse I'll keep it or just edit him out, it's that simple.

Eminem is going to be on Tech's next album. He'll just ask for a verse 10 years before its release so Eminem can take his time to write and record.
