It`s funny to see members that got into Eminem and hip hop in general with Relapse. You guys missed out some epic shit that happened in 2000-2003.

My earliest memory of hip-hop was Forgot About Dre on Top of the Pops in 99. Even at a stupidly young age I loved the energy and the personality of it. Chronic 2001 singles were everywhere so I must have picked up on that but I'm pretty sure MMLP was the one (you would have had to be living on Mars not to hear Eminem's name at least 4 times a week when that album dropped). Probably followed by Stillmatic (my brother played the shit out of that album).

The album that made me INTO Rap music, went to search for different artists and Rap took most of my listening times .. the thing that made me the Rap fan I am today, was Get Rich of Die Tryin'.

Word of Mouf made me listen to the genre, Get Rich or Die Tryin' made me interested in the genre.

WOM > GRODT though

My brother bought Word of Mouf back when it came out too, damn, that album was so raw to bump :worship:

Classic album...definitely in my top 20 all time

The Chronic and 2001, then I got Eazy E's greatest hits, then Ice Cube - The Predator, and continued from there
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

I Can't Feel My Face
Carter II
God's Son
SSLP
etc.

First Hip Hop song I listened to was probably from MMLP but I wasn't really into music yet, let alone Hip Hop.

I had listened to hip hop all my life, but didn't really get into it like I am now until Snoop Dogg's Tha Doggfather. One awesome album. And then I got into the chronic and Doggystyle. And then Encore and the Eminem show. :smoking:
