She asked Dexter to look for any additional evidence, so she could finally close the crime scene or something. She new he'd be there after his sons play or whatever so she most likely showed up to get some alone time with him lol.

that. We know that Deb's in love with Dex so she asked him to go to church to collect final evidence (yeah,right) but what she really wanted wasn't really work related, nah mean? And the church was the only place to do it in private. *shrug

Maybe if your only talking about the first season. Each season of PB after was a step in the wrong direction. 3 & 4 are laughable.

Season 4 was "laughable"? Hm...no, it was actually the most intelligent season IMO.
