Why is this dude not HUGE right now? IMO Royce > Drake, Kanye, Wayne, T.I. etc. Listening to all the shit he's done with Em recently, the dude is money. Usually when I listen to a song featuring Em, I fast forward to his part, or suffer through the mediocre verse that comes before or after his. With Royce that's not the case. Royce does a better job at hanging with Em than anyone else that's ever been on a track with him IMO. Thoughts?

Royce is one of my favorite artist of all time... OF ALL TIME !

But I don't think he's as innovative as a lot of the big Names like Em, Jay, Nas or Kanye. Plus, his rap style doesn't suit a lot of mainstream (and even underground) listeners. He's a great rhymer though, he's funny with the punchlines and he's pretty versatile with his flows. I'm really looking forward to the Slaughterhouse album.

Not sure, I don't think his ambitions are to breakthrough and be all radio anymore anyways. I think he's in the perfect spot.

While I do agree that he's one of the few who can actually hang with Em on a track, he's not quite as innovative as some already established rappers like Em, Jay-Z, Kanye, Wayne (not innovative really but he's extremely popular in the hip hop world and he has impact)...he's not quite up to their levels yet.
