I don't think it should be illegal for homosexuals to marry, I think it's up to the church or institution to decide whether they want to marry someone or not. Adoption is a different isue all together and I think each adoptive family should be heavily scrutinized. Do I think some gay couples are unfit to adopt a child? Yes. Do I think some straight couples are unfit to adopt children? Yes. I would need to research this issue more, and hear testimonies from children who grew up with gay parents. I bet a lot of them received more love and care than the millions of children who have grown up in foster care, drifting between families, meaning no more to them than a welfare cheque each week.
