first of all, like I said on the announcing post, if you don't participate don't complain, and for those who participated, every submitted song was reviews, if you do not find it in your desired nominations its because a)track length/type b)link was dead c)other songs had better impact on that nomination.

second, yes, I nominated myself, but I do promise you that I did not made any bias votes, I like you all so I really went 100% real with this. I went through many topics, and based every decision not on my taste, but on the actual comments and performance of the song. Every song was critically reviewed.

Third, the reason I do this, again is because you guys deserve it, we put effort in our music and craft songs carefully just so people can enjoy it better and this is like a commemoration of those efforts. I personally thank you all for helping the music with what you bring to the table. and remember, a big ego doesn't make you better, it probably makes you worse without realizing it, think before talking.

I was active, I've released some really good songs on here over the past year. when I give feedback, I give actual feedback, not just "good song, i liked it" I give in depth responses to comments, just because I don't have thousands of posts doesn't mean im not active. I mean, would u rather listen to a rapper than has 20,000 posts on a website or a rapper that has over 2,000 hours of experience in a studio. this is why I say it's biased. the people who post the most on here get automatic passes into these competitions just because of VET status. I've been on this board around 3 years now...I've seen what goes on.


not to long ago there was a thread on here that said most likely to be signed, most the vets on here said ME. now how is the guy that most the vets think has the best chance at getting signed..not even nominated?

lmao I kinda agree with this with the exception of Kez because of his accent and his awful quality.

Tom and Spag both have awful deliveries. IMO that's easily their worst quality as a rapper. they just make up for it with rhymes and flow.

This exactly why I made the other thread, and you should've had participated man, I kept it for like 3 weeks asking everybody to participate and submit their songs and avoiding this happening man. of course even If I went to every post, the final list I made for each category had like from 15-20 songs, If I do it by myself or with just very few other people sending opinions, then of course I'm not gonna get it right, I needed people to remind me of their songs and state their nominatio, going to every topic since like 7 pages ago is tireing man, you do make mistakes. I made a thread 3 weeks ago and left it on top to ask everybody to submit their songs for "Better" consideration. and guess what, laziness took the better of most.

yes, you might be right or wrong about being better or worst, thats not the point, but I do recognize you as one of the best deliveries on here, man, this shit happens on everything. That why I continuously asked people to participate with me, and even if I agree with you, I can only tell you what I told all. If you did not participate man, then you can not complain. and thats that man, sorry

It's hard for someone like me who really does put ALOT of time and effort into this rap thing to not even get a nod and its frustrating as hell. the main reason I even release my music on here is because theres alot of european users here, and i like my music being heard everywhere so when i get the opportunity, an end of the year awards, or a thread saying most likely to be signed...it's nice to see your name on it, especially when all comments from anyone who actually checked it thought it was superior to anything else on the site.

this basically sums up my frustrations... they dont really know me because i get passed over on recognition like this. almost all comments on every one of my songs, thats i've EVER posted on here have been mostly favorable...and the reason I don't get 20+ replies? is because im not in the inner post heavy circle. this is the audio stage, where i would expect musical talent outshines forum activity any day. The ways i usually get 20+ replies? make an asshole title to get people to hate me before they view my song, and the replies are for most part still favorable.

not at all, not all the nominations from the people who participated actually made it, the reason I asked for people' participation was to get a brain=pick and avoid mistakes like this, beacuse you are right, specially the song Ridiculous at least a delivery nod, I know I missed some excelent songs, but yeah, its not personal at all, this is just a cool thing to do and the least I want with it is to cause trouble or frustration. but yeah man, this is done almost 2 times a year so we'll see you next time hopefully next one will be in may again
