I thought RED was a solid album...

Too many features, some save the songs or brought the best out of him (I even liked the two tracks with Wayne on the hooks) but i thought some of the album wasn't 'great' material and that the Dre skits were just thrown on there just to say 'prod. by Dr Dre'

Good point...

I can only remember a few songs off of it that I genuinely liked, but overall I thought it was a good release.

He did have a lot of features though. I feel like the Dre skits would have been great on a debut album, or mixtape, but maybe not this late in the game.

It just didn't seem to fit in as his main fanbase probably already heard the first 3 albums, it had heavy features which is something i don't particularly like on albums unless it's the absolute cream of the crop, honestly when i heard The City, Martians vs Goblins & Drug Test i was really hyped and was expecting the rest of the album to be near classic, but it didn't end up that way.

I like the first 13 songs on the album, and then about half of the last 6 or 7. So overall, for me, I think it was solid. I would rank it 3rd in his discog, after The Documentary and Advocate.
I've just always been a big fan of his. I dont know why.

Being a highly influenced 10/11 year old when The Documentary dropped, i used to go to sleep listening to it and it was banging and a classic to me, but i just don't feel like R.E.D was a truly great album.

I personally felt that Premiers 'Born in the Trap' was weak for Preem', no disrespect to Premier.

Good Girls Go Bad suited Drake, not my kind of style though, but i feel the album up until Paramedics I don't feel that track, and i liked Big Boi on Speakers on Blast, Pot of Gold was a good choice for a single and i can put up with that on the album, but that's it.

Interested to know what theme/concept this album will have. I assume it will be a recap of everything he has done for Aftermath up to this point.

Game's discography is 4 out of 4 so far (even though I'm not crazy about LAX), so I'm sure will get another great album. The only thing that RED lacked for me was production from Just Blaze and Scott Storch. Bring those two back and we'll have another banger

Uh, what? That's one of the best Premier beats. Personally, is in my top three, along with Represent and Nas is Like.

I find Game as a rapper, quite boring.

I still need to check all his stuff out properly, but just from what I have heard over the years...

I enjoyed "Red Nation" though, feels like a memorable anthem...

And I like the idea of trying to identify a title with a colour like that, it's more artistic... creates more of an impression. It's more ambitious than, well, not doing something like that.

Game is very honest, and funny in interviews now, but his music is still meh to me.

Good, Bad, Ugly was an uncharacteristicly creative song in terms of concept execution for Game.

Probably one of my favorite songs from him.
