Why Eminem is rapping so much about fast food

It's becoming obvious one of the main things Eminem raps about these days is fast food and fast food joints...which makes me wonder if one of the aspects of Eminem's sobriety is staying away from greasy foods, since they coincided with his pill popping and ballooning up to 200+ LBS a few years ago.

So now that he can't eat them anymore, he misses them dearly...and he tries to satisfy his cravings by talking about them in his music.

Eminem may not rap about his personal life or media hypocrisy or other aspects of society anymore, but he can sure tell you where to get the best hot dogs and hamburgers.

Okay, now on to the real reason...we don't really have one. But he used to reference food often in his music. Many rappers actually do this. Richard does it much better than Throw It Up.

Well, I suppose that may be true. Hadn't really thought about it, but the "White Castle" line from My Name is popped into my head, as did the "Burger King" reference in The Real Slim Shady. And then there was the McDonald's arches line in The Kids.

Still, he didn't usually make these references so close together. Let's face it, the man wants cheeseburgers/McDonald's big mac greases.

Just thought of something. Not only does he reference fast food a lot, but also just food in general. So who ever gets aggravated with his fast food lines, probably gets aggravated with his fruit and vegetable lines as well. lol
