Amsterdam either way though, imo.

i'm not 100% it passed, i just remember reading it

From what I can tell they're strongly considering it. A few states or provinces are trialing it but not currently the one with Amsterdam in it. They are also looking to reclassifying Cannabis with a THC content higher than 15% as a hard drug, meaning it won't be available in cafes.

There is good news though. Cannabis actually isn't legal in Amsterdam, they just choose not to police it. So logic suggests that even when a law is passed that states you must only sell drugs to members they may choose to ignore it and not police it.

Well thank you for the update, I have this talk in real life, and I need to re inform people now :b:

80% of cafes sell weed with more than 15%. In 1998 the average concentration was 9% and by 2005 it had risen to 18%. Imagine where it's at now... :flutter:

What a wonderful country

You're kind of captain obvious for wanting to smoke weed, but I'm from the Netherlands so let me inform you:
Whether or not you can smoke in Amsterdam as a tourist, I'm not sure. I think you can, but if not, there's other options: by train you can go to any city not too far away, like Utrecht, Almaar, Haarlem, Rotterdam, Arnhem, Lelystad (just from the top of my head). You'll find coffeeshops there. Just don't go to the cities near the boarder, especially in the south (Maastricht, Roosendaal).

you can't go shopping there, there aren't any touristic things, so i would definitely say canada, i would love to go there, it's just a little too far away.
