If I'm honest I only buy the original CD if I love an album or an artist. So my favorite way is the first day when I open the CD and I listen to the songs while checking the booklet.

But that's the first day, then I will store the CD and I will listen the album on my mp3. But if I love an album I need to have it, it's like a collection for me.

Exactly the same for me.
Did it with relapse and recovery, when i really got into Em. (was to young when he blew up at first)
However, now my albums are gone would really like to have his whole collection of albums

Oh, yeah, same here. I don't really have that many CDs, so my favorite way of listening is a rather rare occasion. However, listening to burnt CDs the same way is almost the same for me, so it's not that big of a deal. And I definitely agree about the first time an album drops, that's the best experience right there. Can't wait for Life Is Good and F&L 2 to be released, and hopefully they won't leak too early so that it doesn't kill me until my CDs arrive.

I hate falling asleep with music on, granted it does influence my dreams, but I wake up and my ears fuckin kill.

What I usually do, is put the TV on Vh1 and set it to shut down in a half hour or so. That way I can fall asleep to music, but not have it "bother" me for the rest of the night. Maybe it won't influence all my dreams, but it makes the falling asleep part much sweeter. The only drawback is that we're talking Vh1 here, so chances are you'll be listening to Adele 45 times until you've hit your dreams.

When Recovery leaked though, it was morning for me. and I had an exam the same day, so I woke up earlier, put it on my phone and started to listen to the album at home while getting ready for school, all the way to school and during the pauses. Ahh..

We need a new Em album.
