Uh, who gives a shit? Since when was it mandatory to listen to an artist's whole discography before they can call themselves a "fan?" Fucking pisses me off, I swear.
im cool with people like that untill they become cocky and think that any pre-recovery stuff wasnt good, and recovery is what made him famous.
I have a couple of.. friends.. who found recovery about 3 months ago, which is cool, more eminem fans. But one of them walks around school all day trying to rap LTWYL and 25 To Life but doesnt even know the words correctly, while the other finds remixes of em songs then thinks that they are real songs. He really fails at the whole 'hip hop' music fan business, he actually came up to me bragging about how he knows the names of over 15 eminem songs. And he actually said to me, in these words
'And i even know the words to two verses of one, i bet you can't do that'.Then i have another friend who called LTWYL gangsta rap because of how em treats the girl through the song (but i posted saying that a while ago). I will admit, i came into being an eminem fan largely because of Recovery, and i dont have any problem with people that do that as i see
Recovery as a kind of bridge between hip hop and the mainstream crap most people are used to, but i actually took the time to listen to his older music and appreciate it. Also, i didnt become cocky about something which i would honestly describe as embarassing

. If someone just wants to listen to recovery, im cool with that too. But there comes a point where people get annoying about it, and
that, is when i get mad at people.
