Shout Out (Intro) - I see what you're trying to do here. But the problem is, it's way too formal. Something like this should be improv, off-the-top, which it clearly wasn't.

Well Equipped - I thought it was a nice move to use a sparse beat here, it's almost like your voice was another instrument of the beat. They compliment each other in a way I haven't heard in any other song. That hook is genius too. The outro of this song is much more natural than the first track.

Said and Done - Your flow matches the song perfectly. However, I think your vocal is slightly too loud, and this makes the keyboard underneath far too quiet.

Get High - When the beat came on, I thought this was some YMCMB bullshit. I don't like "get high" songs at the best of times, and this was no different. Your vocal saved this for me but that intro/outro was horrible.

The Underground - I love this beat. Overall, I feel like this is a topic that's been done to death, so I didn't really see anything special about this. I have similar feelings about "Get High".

Fucked Up - The beat sounds very Big Ax-D. I don't feel it suits you, but I guess for this type of song, you need that juxtaposition between the vocal and the beat.

Somthin' They Know - This beat is fucking great. The beat suits you very well. But yet again, this is content I've heard before.

Writer's Block - This beat is probably the best of the album. You did a very good job here, but Phantom renegaded you. That said, I like all three verses. The slight beat changes at the start of the third verse is dope too.

Double Dutch - Da fuck? This is nothing like the rest of the album, it sticks out like a sore thumb and not in a good way. Ax provides a hook which is catchy but I really don't like it. Did his voice change? However, I love his warbling in the background.

Gibberish - This is probably my favourite song from the album. This song is almost poetic, with strong social commentary contrasting with the hook showing your "insignificance". That beat is so good too, I'm jealous.

Music (Outro) - I like this. It makes the album feel like it has come to its natural end. But for the billionth time, I've heard it before.

Overall - I like this album, your lyricism was on-point and your production was godly. But I feel like the content of the album was very predictable and unoriginal. Also, some songs, like Get High and Double Dutch, just don't belong. Overall, it was a good album, but it could've been better.

Sorry it took so long to feed.

i listened to gibberish, i liked the song, it was simple but was a good way to close the album. i liked the part where you sample the news caster about obama's torture thing. keep it going man if you made this beat its fire, you got a great thing going. if you have beats i'd love to rap on one of them, if your down for a collab... either way this song was great.

mind returning the favor?

hey man, sorry it took me a while to get to it, been very busy but its finally here, I still have to do Steve Spag and Random Ghost's tape, and I'll get to those soon aswell all great tapes.

ok

first off, Quality
so far the best quality tape I've heard on this forum, from the production to the mixing and mastering, excelent volume levels, vocal quality. There is still feedback I can give you on that tho, your voice would probably sound better if you gently boost the low frequencies of it to give it the power it needs as it sounds too "soft"... (agression wise). also, your layovers are a bit too low most of the time, its good bcuz its is always clearer like that and the intelligibility of the lyrics is better, but it removes that power. All the effects you added like on track intros and stuff were great, so big up on that. 10/10

Beats
I honestly didn't though you were that good of a producer, every beat is unique and great, I loved all of them, ironically enough with the exeption of the one I was featured in, but you still managed to kill it, so dopeness!... If I remember well, I think you told me you used logic pro, I have a question about that, if you were using mainy apple loops or if you did the 100% or if a bit of both?.. also, even if the beats were greatly produced and mixed I think you may be lacking a bit of creative impulse. that doesnt mean that the beats are not creative enough, but that they could be a little more developed. as they most of the time have the same structure. (ABAB, or verse, hook, verse, hook). you could probably add a bit of interludes or bridging. My favourite beat was probably Get High & Writer's Block. I actually would really really love to make a remix of Get High and probably get DerdyPK on it as-well. So great Job On that 10/10

Lyrics & Concept
Awsome lyrics, good concepts. I like that you varied the concepts a bit, even if you didnt get too deep on them they were nice to bounce around. Lyrics, all of them were good for what they were aimed at, you kept it clear and precise. I actually like that, however maybe on at least one track you should've really have went all in on lyricism to add variety and well, show off, you know?... still nice, easy to manage and understand. 8/10

Overall
My favourite song was Writer's Block, everything from the beat, the lyrics and how you guys rode the concept was awsome, Phantom's verse was insane!, Beautifully crafted song. Also Get High, Underground and Giberrish were really nice. Overall all of them were great. On the overall however, what I was not feeling too much was the hooks, I feel that most of them were eh, u know. For many reasons, you used the same technique on most of them, there was not much creative input into them and stuff, so work on that on the future. But yeah, on the general, this tape was great and I always enjoy listening to it. so excelent job my friend, congrats on the quality and all. Wish you nothing but the best man, you look like a bright future so good looks!

Keep it up man :worship: :worship:
