Eminem is the best living being in the universe. He's the best rapper, singer and producer ever. If you make a list of Hip-Hop's best songs and albums, you have to list the whole Eminem discography first, and then start figuring out the follow ups. Did I say Hip-Hop? Wait, I meant music as a whole. Other than that, Eminem is the best basketball player as well. His retarded shooting form shits on MJ's and Kobe's whole careers. Eminem is also the best actor in the world, and 8 Mile is the best movie ever made. The shirts and shoes with the D12/Shady/Bad Meets Evil logos are the best clothes and shoes in the history of human kind. Marshall Mathers is the best name ever created, and Kim is the most beautiful girl a man can dream of. Eminem's videos are the greatest music videos of all time, not one comes close. I feel like Kanye's overproduction is changing rap for the worse with real lyrics now taking a back seat to banging beats. Kanye has given us widely popular and overly praised albums like WTT and all of the lights even winnning a grammy. IMO thats not what hip hop should be about.

But in terms of overall who is more talented at making beats its Kanye. Part of the reason I dont like it is cuz hes too good at it and gets away with shitty lyrics thinking he doesnt need them just cuz he has awesome beats. Eminem on the other hand makes beats that are intended to emphasize and go with the lyrics rather than just be rapping over them. There two different styles and I much prefer ems, but just in terms of the beat its still got to be kanye.

Yeah Eminem's Beats are really enjoyable in the sense no other Producer can replicate them the sound is very unique and he has Produced so many classic Beats.

You mean Kanye's beats? Eminem is an okay producer, but Kanye can make some real phenomenal beats. Eminem's beats can sound very cliche, and recycled. Kanye's beats are placed on a whole new level.

That's why Eminem is such an exceptional Producer he actually composes his Beats from scratch. I tend to find a lotta Kanyes Beats boring while i feel Em has an exciting sound when he Produces.

Like Em has produced "meh" beats but I don't think i've ever heard a bad Ye beat.

You might prefer Em and I understand that. Em's an amazing producer, but he has not made enough beats, he hasn't experienced with beats as much as Producers do.

He has been Producing since 1996 this is all the Beats he has Produced, majority of all his Albums except Relapse and Recovery and majority of Albums released on Shady this list is huge so he has Produced alot if you look at this catalouge of Production he done.

He's definitley a good Producer have heard all his Albums and Albums he Produced for others like Common. But just enjoy Eminem's Beats alot more and find them much more enjoyable to listen to think Eminem is a great Producer and better based on the classic Albums he Produced.

As far as creativity Eminem is more creative Producer since like people mentioned he composes majority of his Beats from scratch. While majority of Kanyes Beats use a lotta SAmples and also the fact Kanye himself admitted he has a whole team of Beat Makers who actually make the Beat while he just explains what sound he wants.
