Someone posted a link with Whoo Kid I think. He said Em was mad the song didn't make the album cuz the time was up and they needed to press the album. Em was doing 2-3 songs with Banks and they was unsure about what song they would choose or use. I fill try to find the link.

And Em loves to buy CD's for his mad old player and they don't include ITunes bonus songs.

Just finished listening...

It's alright overall, but... meh. I feel hip-hop is in a shit state again.

2009 / 2010 felt good. It feels like there's a lot of crap and compromise again now though.

This is his SECOND album ffs. This should be his classic... There's some nice moments on it but, nothing amazing, incredibly original or new, nothing hugely different. It's nothing special. Sigh.

Also, he basically admits he's compromised himself, on "Where Are You"... but it's as if he thinks admitting it and doing a song about it, or thinking it's ironic, excuses it

Sick of features, and sick of potential new legends selling out IMMEDIATELY now.

Either that or, just a lack of imagination. Maybe this really is his best now... SIGH!

(by the way, I don't think B.o.B has sold out with his thoughts. But the music is more generic now, less organic, less interesting... but actually, it's not even really that he's sold-out much, it's just that it feels like retreaded lyrics, a lack of ideas... it's just rapping about rapping.)

Everybody is just rapping about rapping. Rapping about their status, their success... I mean, making music about the success of the music you're making it's almost profoundly stupid.

Where the fuck are the concepts. Where's the groundbreaking shit. Will there ever be any again...
