Seems kinda obvious to me tbh, it's still a monosyllabic word and keeps the "oo" sound going, and it means essentially the same thing as rude, and it also adds another word to his alliteration string.

The 'right-up' is an awful rhyme with fighter and lighter. Instead it should be:

'In my mind I'm a fighter, my heart's a lighter, my soul is the fluid my flow sparks it brighter'.

Once you've replaced right-up with brighter, it's hard to imagine why this wasn't used.
