...anyone think there could possibly be a connection between Almost Famous and Careful What You Wish For? As maybe part of a saga, even? Both tracks are about his story in the rap game and his relationship with fame, with Almost Famous detailing his ascent into it while in Careful What You Wish For he talks about the troubles it eventually brought him.

But the link that made me think there could be a connection between the two songs came to me when I was listening to AF last night. At the end of the hook Liz Rodrigues sings "be careful what you wish for" and it kinda dawned on me that there could possibly be a connection. If you played both songs back to back, it does make sense that Careful What You Wish For could, in a sense, be a carry-on to Almost Famous, albeit with the middle part of his story missing. I know it's been discussed before about the possibility of Em making a sequel to Almost Famous and I think it could work very well if done correctly. I think a song centred around what his life was like at the peak of his super-stardom could really mould the two together well and we could get a trilogy, or even a quadrilogy eventually.

He has quite a few songs about the music industry and how it has affected him in negative ways, for example saying good bye to holly wood says that he sacrificed everything for rap so Idk there could be a connection but I dont think he meant any connection between the two.

I mean a carry on in terms of the story. AF is the beginning of his rise, CWYWF is the tail end when everything started to turn to shit after all the fame.

Pretty much yea, just different parts of the story coming together into what could eventually be 3 or 4 songs which, when played back in chronological order, would tell the story of his career. It's all just speculation for now of course with very little evidence that this is what he is aiming to do. I just think he could make it into something really interesting if he did decide to do something like that.

I agree with your last statement, but I don't think this is what he is trying to do with these 2 songs. I think they are independent concepts and nothing more, but 2 great songs at that.
