Encore is known for a lot of things, being called "shitty" & "trash" by Em fans & stans alike (personally believe it's Eminem at his creative & conceptual prime, although definitely not at his lyrical prime) but there's something specific related to Encore I've been meaning to get off my chest recently.
Just Lose It is amazing social commentary, it's poking fun at all of his previous corny singles & mocking the viewer for being another trendy single follower. Notice how he put "I don't have any lines to go here so chubbachubbachubba", do you actually think he wrote this bullshit because he's lazy? No! He's putting it there because he knows his Stans will eat that shit up, it's a classic Slim Shady IDGAF attitude.
Not enough proof? Notice how he mentions his classic, Lose Yourself & parodies it. Why? It's to fit the concept of Just Lose It, the listener is supposed to be reminded of his classics and reflect.
Anyway, to My First Single...
My First Single is a biting social commentary & immensely underrated. It's called shitty because people fail to see the concept, he's mocking society for being obsessed with the latest hot trend, and spitting in the face of Interscope executives. Vintage Slim Shady rebellion reminiscent of the SSLP days. It's like the Way I Am, except he's added humor to fool simpletons who expect another silly Eminem song. People overlook this classic because of it's farting & burping noises, but the fart & burp noises mean so much more. It's symbolism, the fart represents the crappy "hot" singles polluting are airways, and the burp represents the idiots who seem to take the awful music like Vicodin.
Now, lyrically they're not impressive, but who cares? The concept isn't about hip-hop, it emcopases all genres polluting the radio, Eminem made it basic rhyme-wise on purpose. Idiotic "hip-hawp" heads don't seem to understand this
The beat is also misunderstood, it's another example of Eminem's social commentary. The beat makes a joke out of "hot" beats teens find to be cool, it's not even a beat to be honest.... it's on a whole 'nother level. What other producer would make a beat that judges society's tastes? The beat is just absolutely amazing if you judge it that way, but critics want to judge it just like any other old plain hip-hop beat.

It takes Just Lose It & brings you to a second round of splendid social commentary.
Discuss.

Rain Man: A Social, Political & Religious Commentary Masterpiece
What else could I say about this song? It tackles homophobia, the Bush administration, and once again stabs at the music industry "I made a whole song and I didn't say shit", and gives us a flashback to Criminal with his "You find me offensive, I find you offensive", which is an obvious reference to his classic Heterophobic line. When he takes a quick jab at the Bush administration, he does it simply unlike in White America which has an annoying screaming chorus, overrhyming galore, and fails to execute a good concept. Of course once again, idiots fail to see the concept & want him to overrhyme.
