How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

This. I really expected them to be on there. But of course, this is just a list...nothing important.

Surprise, surprise...Good Music was 1. I swear complex dick rides Kanye too much. He's #1 on every list, I mean he's talented but extremely overrated. No one should be able to score #1 on a list over and over, that includes Eminem. I mean there is other music out there that is amazing. Why isn't Kendrick or Yelawolf on that list? Love Story comes out in the summer according to Yelawolf and do does Good Kid In A Mad City, I'm easily anticipating those more than the G.O.O.D. Album. I don't like and mercy where shit.... Mercy is the better of the two and I can actually fuck with that song, the remix is unbearable. Besides, any list with Waka is shit and it's writers opinion is invalid. Mine would have gone like this:

1.) Good Kid In A Mad City - Kendrick Lamar
2.) Love Story - Yelawolf
3.) Life is Good - Nas
4.) 50 Cent's album
5.) Good Music (probably gon drop lower if they continue to make shit music)

If that Travis Barker EP increases Yelawolf's demand, prepare to eat you words.

Edit: In retrospect, this has been a shit year (2012). IMO, 2011 was looking up for rap but 2012 has only spiraled down. However, 2012 has had some exceptions. Them being: Klusterfuk, The Slumdon Bridge - EP, The People's Rapper LP, and Habits & Contradictions (Best release this year in all honesty). Where as the highlights of 2011 were Tech N9ne's two albums, Setbacks, Radioactive, Black Cocaine - EP, Undun, Section.80, Elmatic, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, Camp, H:TS, & Longterm Mentality.

I hope I do. :flutter:

However, he said he's gonna start recording this summer. That could be August for all we know. And never forget... he is on Shady Records.

Shady Records ain't holding him back unless it's a push back. He recorded Trunk Muzik in a week Radioactive in two, & Slumdon Bridge in 1 day. They only thing I could see getting in his way is Kendrick Lamar's album.

Dude I noticed like 3/4 of your posts are similar to this, why can't you just give your opinion on the list except criticizing people who support Shady Records? I swear, you should just not give a fuck and it'll get better.

But you gotta admit that everytime someone makes a list and it doesn't include Eminem(or he doesn't win in everything),people here ALWAYS stomp the magazine to the ground, ALWAYS.

Why can't people just be like ''oh no Em?, oh well.. I think it's one of the most anticipated albums of the year''

I think i'll just play the ''respect the opinion'' card y'all been using against me for 'few' times.

Nah I know it must be annoying, but still you gotta know that you're on an Eminem forum. They're pissed, maybe it's overreacting but hey, whatever.

Just ignore these posts. :y:

I don't care about that, we're not the one who should decide tbh.

I never mentioned Eminem, I did mention Yelawolf & Kendrick though. I got no problems with ya, but if you directed your comments at me don't put words in my mouth. I love Kanye West more than most people here, I think he a fucking genius. However, Complex would lose credibility if they put one person at the #1 spot on their lists every time, even if it was Eminem. I mean Kanye deserves a lot of the credit he gets but at the same time there's a lot he doesn't deserve as well. I mean, I Don't Like & Mercy were awful after making songs like Devil In A New Dress, Runaway, & Blame Game IMO. If you wanna go back farther I'll say could you image Kanye, the person who made Family Business, would stop making threads, give in, and start following them. Same applies to Eminem, he started following the trend with Recovery somewhat, but at least he is detaching himself from with H:TS & his recent features. I can only hope Eminem & Kanye both remove themselves from following threads and go back to making them, and I'm glad Eminem is starting to do that but once his next album is out he will know for sure. Same goes to Kanye, can't judge an album before it's released. However, judging from the last two tracks (the remix & Mercy) the GOOD Music album is receiving less hype from me. That's why I put Kendrick, Yelawolf, Nas, & 50 Cents' projects ahead of it. I feel Kendrick & Yelawolf deserved to be on that list, hell even Slaughterhouse somewhere near the bottom, but it is what it is.
