Lecrae's coming out with his first mixtape on May 10th that is aimed at the secular industry. The host of the mixtape is Don Cannon.

You realize he has like 5 albums, right? lol. But yeah, should be good. Lecrae is diverse and amazingly talented. I've been listening to him since his first album. around 06.

Haha yeah I do, this is his first mixtape though and his first musical production specifically aimed at the mainstream. This is a quote from him about it - "This mixtape is aimed at the mainstream and is raw uncut hip-hop," Lecrae states. "This is totally different from my past releases and I hope can build a bridge between my current fans and create new ones."

I just hope he isn't selling out. Who knows. He's got so many different styles though. If he started mainstream, he'd be huge. He's much more talented (even in mainstream-esque music) than any artist out right now.

@Block - I don't think he's selling out at all, or at least based on the "Church Clothes" song I posted. He stays pretty Biblical and unashamed in it.
