Well, Eminem can only answer this question, but what do you guys think?

I think he likes TMMLP most. That album is just SO GOOD, no BAD songs. TMMLP sold like 1.8 million copies in the first week & he didn't do THAT much drugs at the time, he didn't have a problem with it. He still preforms songs from TMMLP, ( The Real Slim Shady, The Way I am, Kill You, Stan, and he used to do Drug Ballad & Under The Influence too. )

He was happy at the time, he just got famous, he made her daughters happy, he had some problems at the time too but he was mostly happy.

After TMMLP, I'd say Recovery, he was and is still sober, he had no problems in his life, but I have this weird feeling that he didn't have fun recording songs for Recovery. The songs are more new school, and Eminem is more old schoolish. He probably just did it for the teens, and for the money. I mean it has some sick lyrics, punchlines and metaphors, but it's just not "Eminem". But maybe I'm wrong. :P

The albums by Eminem that he hates the most is probably Encore or The Re-Up. He did so much drugs,he was fucked up and he was sad & stuff when he made The Re-Up. ( Proof Died, R.I.P )

But again, like most us, would probably agree that The Marshall Mathers LP meant more to a generation, had a bigger impact, and artistically... was more, noteworthy.

There are plenty of angry, angsty, psycho, ballsy thoughts on both albums.

In fact he sounds more happy on The Slim Shady LP. He's mostly just sarcastic and jokey on that where as on The Eminem Show and Recovery he's fuelled, and sounds pissed off.

No sorry I was getting it mixed up, it was actually Dre that said it in an XXL interview, "I don’t feel like I’ve made my best record yet. The Marshall Mathers LP got the closest, but I don’t feel like I’ve hit that thing just 100 percent perfect."

You know TES is 10 years old? he have released three albums since then, so it doesn't have to be his favorite album now.

I think Recovery is his favorite album because he got a lot of shit off his chest, as well as being his "feel good album" coz he be soberz yay!
