I'm not sure how Chelsea have won that, Bayern missed sitter after sitter but they've jammed their way to a win. The way they approached that was unbelievably dull and the lack of ambition was astonishing.

Congrats, though, rode their luck and took their chances when they came.

I wanted Bayern to win, but at least Redknapp is going to have a shit summer. Swings and roundabouts.

To add: Terry is a classless cunt. In '99 Keane (who I hate) and Scholes stayed in the stand in their suits when Man U won it. Terry gets changed into a FULL KIT, runs on the pitchs and lifts the trophy despite not even being involved. Unbelievable.

EDIT: Probably sounds like I'm taking something away from the Chelsea win. I'm not. I just found it really depressing in terms of the way they approached the game. Obviously if it was my team who'd done it, I wouldn't give a flying fuck, its just kind of ruined the spectacle as neutral.

I'm telling you guys, cityfan secretly likes Chelsea!

That win was important on so many levels though. As cityfan said before the game, if we didn't win the Champions League, we wouldn't be able to attract the top players. The money is also vital considering Financial Fair Play.

What an amazing season. From almost going out of the Champions League when we played Valencia, to beating Napoli, Barcelona and Bayern at their home ground. Immense. If RdM stays on, I hope he's capable of slowly rebuilding the squad.
