As far as i know the songs in Refill were meant to be in Relapse 2 which later on Em decided to scrap. So he has already released the 'best' songs from relapse 2 (in the form of Refill). So Anything else from the whole relapse session wont be so intriguing. but it would be cool any ways to hav some more EMINEM.

That's not definite though, he also didn't release songs like "Cocaine", "Fly Away" and "Things Get Worse" and they're all dope.

But anyway, this isn't a Relapse 2 thread, it's just appreciative thread for Relapse. Favourite songs and why?

Were'nt Cocaine and Fly away recorded after he scrapped the idea of Relapse 2 ? and went to a different direction with sound and flow.

So do I, with the song anyways. I read about how people were raving about it, and rushing from the computer lab to my dorm room to hear it. :flutter:

Three years, that is also the time-span of 1999-2002, which resulted in SSLP, MMLP, TES & 8 Mile (& Devils Night). Time does, indeed, come and pass maaad fast.

It's time for another album, Em.

It's kinda messed up to think how much time has passed and how drastically a lot of people's opinion's on not only this album, but Eminem's music entirely has shifted.

Three years later, I'm still loving and bumping this album weekly. Eminem was on fire with this one, his flows were impeccable, rhyming was treacherous and content was to die for ( :shifty: )

I think you Twatter..uhh..Clitter...TWITTER, yeah, Twitter nerds should mass twat..twit..twerp? TWEET! Tweet Paul for Em to release an R2 song ;)

That being said, I'll be bumping Relapse and Relapse: Refill throughout the day. Show some fuckin love for this album motherfuckers!

We were meant to be Menzo. Do you wanna bump me throughout the day?

God this freaking album puts me in a zone. I will now use this post to show my appreciation for this album. If I ever get burnt out on Em, this is the first album I turn to. It's so...abstract. And for a comeback, it's so perfectly put together and constructed. Some people don't like it, I know it appeals to diehards and maybe even not them. But I've always loved this album man, Em's so precise on it.

I've said it for a while, but I feel like Relapse era Em was the last time we saw the old Eminem. The way he dressed and held himself, it's so drastically different from now. It's just crazy to think of y'know? But he's changed, and evolved as an artist, and I respect that.

Dude you should totally make a thread about why Relapse 2 never got released and see what people on here think...

Eminem in 2009 was on his way to being the savior of this horrible era of music/pop culture/society. It was so refreshing...a guy who was clearly on his way to an early death, stuck in misery with his pill popping...rising from the ashes. Just a breath of fresh air.

Then the turd internet fans whined about it and the poor guy heard about all this and went, "guess I need to yell on every track and try to force some metaphorzzzz in dere to fit in with the kewl rappers of today like Wayne and Drake."

Just goes to show...nothing cool can last for every long in this era because the internet and the morons who comprise its users will ruin it in no time flat.
