Never heard ANYONE say that to me, everyone agrees he's amazing. On the other hand people think Eminem sucks because he's too white, isn't lyrical, and can't rap. But in the same token, they play Drake, nicki, and wayne.

even tho some ignorant fucks choose to hate eminem for dumb reasons .. sadly jay z get the hate MASSIVELY for no obvious reason ( just go to jay videos and laugh at the comments ) .. i always believe that people tend to hate rich people so maybe that's the case with jay ..

I 100% agree with your ps, but Eminem really doesn't deserve hate either. That's why everyone that's rich is considered illuminati. It's funny how when an artist is underground everyone loves him but hen they blow up they get so much hate. Anyway, your really can only hate on Eminem for Encore (and some people will mention Relapse accents and Recovery beats, that just comes down to personal taste and I don't mind but at the same time I hope he doesn't do them on his next album. Also, if you mention his content on guest verses that was prechosen then your an idiot as well.) and JayZ can only be hate for Kingdom Come.

How can someone sit there are call Eminem not lyrical, and say that Wayne. Drake, and Nicki are? Do they realize what lyrical actually means? They must mean the lyrics themselves, that is just down to tastes (albeit shitty ones) because there is no way that any of those three can rhyme like Eminem can. Those three are entertainment rappers, Eminem's an actual MC. Smh at anyone who thinks this, really.

How can people here be saying Tech N9ne is underrated? Just because he isn't getting mainstream play? I have friends who don't even listen to rap who have stumbled across Tech, and in my opinion he is madly overrated nearly everywhere in the underground circles by fans.

In some ways Nas has been underrated the last few years and people seem to overlook him as 'boring' (mainly newer fans of hiphop).

Edit: I do like Tech though, I respect his skill, but I still think he's overrated.

Thats exactly what i was thinking. I mean, "underrated" to me means people give you a chance but STILL dont like appreciate you enough. Otherwise a top 10 "best rappers" list would also be the "top ten underrated" list as only Eminem and Jay Z have both mainstream recognition and underground respect.

i dont listen to alot but these are-

Chammilionare- feel he is unfairly lumped up with "southern rap non-lyrical trap musik"
Krizz Kaliko- because Tech is so good, this guy never seems to get much credit
Lecrae- yes, he's a nice Christian rapper but he's a dope rapper period. Rehab is stupid dope.
Mike Shinoda - Widely considered average as a rapper. Impressive IMHO
Snoop- the fall of jokes are overdone. Snoop is mad entertaining.
Papoose- heard very little but that Sway In the morning Freestyle converted me major.
Joel Ortiz- overshadowed by his persona. Impressive depth and breath in tracks
Big Boi- too bad he has to compete with Andre.
Chino Xl- seems only fellow rappers appreciate this guy. Purist lyricist.
Styles P- i really like this guy. Why hasnt he blown up?
