Mike Dean confirms WTT 2.

Mike Dean also speaks on working with Tupac and Scarface on the song "Smile."

Ever since last year's Watch the Throne took Hip Hop by storm, fans have been clamoring for a sequel to Kanye West and Jay-Z's smash album. Now, Yeezy's go-to producer and engineer Mike Dean reveals that the Throne will be returning shortly.

In a recent interview with Quiet Lunch, Dean announced that Hov and Ye will be working on a new project together at some point. He did explain, however, that while the duo plan on joining forces again, they have yet to begin working on any new material together.

"I'm working on the G.O.O.D. Music album of course, " he explained. "[I'm working on] Watch the Throne 2, which is not started yet, but that's coming."

Dean also discussed his production work with Tupac Shakur on Scarface's 1997 song "Smile." He said that while he only worked briefly with the late legend, the opportunity did give him and 'Face the chance to hear the uncensored version of The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory.

"[Who I've enjoyed working with the most is] Scarface, Kanye, Z-Ro in Houston and 'Pac, of course," he said. "I didn't work with [Pac] that much, but he was dope to work with…I did that [Scarface] 'Smile' stuff with him, and then we hung out in the studio for a few days, right before [The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory] came out. Me and Scarface got to hear the uncensored Makaveli album before they took out all the references to Suge Knight and stuff. It was great."

Otherwise I won't even check it.

But.. you like Bizarre though.

These guys are great, especially Kanye. And if Em rapped on sampled beats you wouldn't complain. Hell, Stan is sampled. Sing For The Moment too.

Be open minded my mole. :y:

Great news! The first one was good, not a classic, but still good.
More songs like Murder To Excellence (my favourite of the record) and NIP please!

This!
I hate is when he overproduce but people still like it cuz it's Kanye
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Can't wait, first one was great but I do agree that they can do much better. I hope Kanye produces more songs, No Church In The Wild was a highlight and was one of the few Kanye produced songs.
