#3 Obie Trice [GOING NOWHERE]

Like usual, simple yet memorable production from Em. Obie's delivery is fucking awesome, and it totally pumps you up and sets the tone for the rest of the album.

#2 WZRD [TELEPORT 2 ME]

On my first listen I wasn't a big fan of WZRD, but on the second one, I loved every song except for two. TELEPORT 2 ME is Cudi doing what he does best; creating an incredibly atmospheric song with some amazing vocals in the background thanks to the lady who did the "hook".

imo the Best not hip-hop song released this year, album, which goes by the same name(if you like the song,check it out) is Top 5 this year and this is one of the standout tracks. I'm not too good with reviews so i'll just let the song speak for itself.

Lupe Fiasco - Around My Way (Freedom Ain't Free).

Nothing bad to say about this track. It's got an infectious, cool beat and hook, dope lyrics and verses. It's fun and easy to listen to but has a serious theme. Lupe is speaking the truth.

Kanye West - Theraflu/Way Too Cold

Didn't like this song much when I first listened to it but gave it a couple more listens lately and DAMN he is going hard. Don't remember Kanye being this geared up/angry, That "tell PETA my mink is draggin on the floor" is such a badass, don't give a fuck type of line. Kanye is buzzing.

Kendrick Lamar - Cloud 10

Was out in 2011 but I only discovered it a few months ago. Anyway, it took a few listens for me to get into it properly but once I did, it really made me sit up and realise what a great songwriter Kendrick Lamar is. Definitely work checking out http://rapgenius.com/Kendrick-lamar-cloud-10-lyrics

Yea, this is an honourable mention in my list, too. And I agree that Dre shouda stayed off this track and let Kendrick have his shine. Kendrick is flawless on this track, whereas Dre sounds a little awkward and, in my eyes, brings nothing positive to it.

Theraflu is definitely bad ass.

I like the vibe, and it has a lot of replay value. I don't know, I just love it.
