yo i remember like a while back i think around about the time of Proofs death no one really knew exactly when and how em was in d12. But i watched some shit to clear it up. It went like this back at the hip hop shop Proof decided to make a group of the illest rappers in detroit and he actually wanted 12 rappers but that never happened. At one point they had seven Eminem being the seventh and the original members and bugz being the other six. Eminem got signed and went out to la with dre so he kinda left the crew to do his own thing and he would come back for the rest of them. So his shit took off then he got Shady records, at first he was just gonna sign d12 as they were and not even be in the group just make guest apperances. Bugz then died and they were all confused and em asked if they wanted him back in the group. They all agreed and we all the know the rest. Here if you got time watch for yourself

I thought Proof created the group of 6, who were close with em. Bugz died, so em asked to replace him?

Proof created the group, he wanted it to actually have 12 people in it--kinda like wu-tang cause they were hot at the time but they only had 7, eminem was the last one in, so when he got signed he left the group and he would come back when he made it big.

I dont understand something, cuz i think bugz died in like 99 or 98,didnt he?
And shady recordz and Devils Night came out on around 2000 or 01. I dont know, did eminem ask to join there?. Im kinda confused, im probably wrong.

yea but it takes a little bit of time to make a record. em asked to join when he was signing d12 like a little after bugz's death

uhm...no--actually Bugz really wanted Swifty in the group and I guess with his passing became a blessing for Swifty
