I was a teen, probably about 14 and got cornered by three guys alot bigger than me. One was considerably cruel and I had just pounded on him after he tried to drown my little brother in the pool.

My dad taught me self-defense and I was very physical. I played sports heavily and was on track and lifted weights w/ my brother (yes I'm a girl).

The one big guy - told me what they were going to do with me (guess) - and I was really scared. Then he said they were going to fk up my little brother once they were done with me. My brother was small, thin and I protected him.

The big one came at me and I grabbed his wrist, twisted it behind his back and broke it as I went for the 2nd one coming at me and broke his nose and then got him in ribs with elbow. The third one ran.

There was alot of blood - both were screaming .. and I ran.

Yeah - due to my 'history' of aggression, the judge made me go to my grandparents over the summers. It actually was a turning point in my life.

But what scared me the most in all of this - as you ask? Was when I hurt them, I felt... nothing. Nothing for their pain, their screams... nothing.

I realized later - I was losing myself to my environment (really bad). My grandparents helped me - taught me - and I got better.. (mostly).

I was 14, I had walked from my high school to Best Buy to pick up a copy of Relapse the day it had come out. So I go and pick it up, go to the cash register, and the cashier asks for ID. I was like "umm is this cool?" and handed her my school ID. Only info on it was the fact that I was a freshman. So she goes to the manager and asks if it was cool if I bought it. I was standing there for about 10 minutes by myself panicked and confused as shit. There were cops in the store as well, which probably added to the panic. The manager comes and looks at me, he goes to the cashier and asks "are you drunk? Let him buy it"...

Then I got home and Eminem was standing in my bedroom and confiscated the CD because it had a parental advisory logo.

Not really the scariest moment in my life, but it took me as a bit of a surprise. (I was about 14 or 15)
I watched the Blair Witch Project with 5 or 6 of my friends late one night. The movie did not seem scary while I was watching it, I actually laughed my ass off almost the whole time. Partly because I didn't really find it that scary, and partly because we were all high off our asses.
Anyway, the scary part did not come until the next night. I was the only one awake in my house. Everytime I heard a leaf rustle outside, a twig snap, or slightest little house sound, I'd freeze and slowly look around, checking everywhere. (For those of you who haven't seen the movie, these are the kinds of sounds that pretty much mean certain death.)
It wasn't really all-out scary, but just really really creepy. Idk, it's been the only movie to have this kind of effect on me, it just fucks with your head a little bit.

I'm gonna have to replace mine with the car accident. That was way more terrifying than being stuck in the closet. :p

I once almost fell off of a bridge while crossing some railroad tracks on the way home. Was literally an inch away from falling to my death due to me fucking around and being stupid. I don't even remember the rest of my day after that. It's like an instant all-day shot of adrenaline.

For real, it's after you watch it that it starts fucking with you haha.

Anyways, a couple stories from me on being scared, since I'm a huge pussy. When I was about 5 or 6 I was running around the house with a blanket over my head. I was racing my brother, he said it was a good idea, and I was fucking 5 so of course I went with it. But that cheating bastard had one of those see through blankets and I was running around with a damn sleeping back. Anyways, I ran full speed into the corner of the wall. Fitting that the super cushioned blanket that obscured my vision didn't help me at all. Still have the sleeping bag too. But yeah, went to the hospital, got my head glued back (the doctor got his finger glued to my head for about 3 minutes, that was cool too).

Then a couple years later I was at the beach with my parents, and went to the ocean by myself. Even though I wasn't supposed to. And then I went past where my feet could touch. Even though I wasn't supposed to. Then I drifted with the tide even farther from my parents on the sand. Even though I wasn't supposed to. I'm sure you've noticed by now I'm a badass. But I got caught under a wave and then couldn't fight off the current and got sucked out deeper into the ocean. Salt water got in my eyes and I couldn't see shit, so started swimming rapidly in hopes that it was towards the sand. But it wasn't, at all. Luckily I got my eyes clear and the current died down just enough to get to where I could feel the ground again. When I showed up to my parents all petrified they told me I deserved that shit.

No, no, I was walking home from school. And I linked the location on gmaps just above your post, but unfortunately it's an aerial view so that doesn't help too much. But there's a slant on both sides of the track itself, about 30 degrees I'd say. And that slant is about 3 feet wide on each side and they both lead directly into about 100 feet of nothing. With a small creek running through at the bottom.

I was trying to balance on one of the rails on the railroad itself, and in an attempt not to fall off almost threw myself off of the side.
