Who do you want on 8th album?

Postby FreeSpeech » Jun 2nd, '12, 21:24

Fuck having Slaughterhouse (Royce is OK) or Yela, they bring down Em's lyricism and are boring. And the Wayne collab was dope but I don't want that Gremlin on Em's album, he's continuously falling off.

I want:
Dr. Dre rapping and producing
A Jeezy verse could be cool, he's real and his lyrics aren't bullshit punchlines
A 50 verse
No "good" singers like Skyler Grey, it's fucking corny.
Sly hooks
Em producing
Big Sean and Royce collab for a Detroit anthem
Some soulful hooks, like Alicia or Bey
Travis Barker drums
No corny Alex Da Kid production
No punchlines

Basically, it should sound like Die Hard, Talk To Me, The Reunion, and Almost Famous.

Dude, Yelawolf is really dope. I mean, you might not like Radioactive but Trunk Muzik is amazing.

And.. Wrong section? Are we talking about Em's 8th album?

You don't like Welcome 2 Hell? I would like Havoc producing a beat or two.

I love Trunk Muzik, it's amazing. But he doesn't bring out anything good in Em. Oh, you're white trash and beat bitches up? Really Marshall?

Em woulda been cool on Pop The Trunk or something, but their collab blew.

I totally agree, Throw It Up was pretty wack. But both of them in a song like "Kill My Nightmare" would've been pretty cool, like rapping/singing on a dark beat.

"No punchlines"?

That's not even... don't you mean "no bad punchlines", which you could say about any future rap album?

Well, VERY limited punchlines. Honestly, he barely use to use em at all. And he never did it just for the hell of it. And it'd be more like a clever quip than wordplay.
Menzo wrote:"Almost Famous" had a bunch of punchlines lol

Yeah, i'm talking about the sound of it though. Not the actual lyrics.

As far as collaborations go, Black Thought, Common, Nas. Perhaps someone he hasn't collaborated with insted of the usual.

I hope for some inventive titles. More storytelling. Horror but not too much. Some fun songs but not corny. Mainly Eminem production.

Who cares if Dre don't write, he murders every verse he does. And Fifty isn't "poppy" WTF.

Its the production i'm really worried about because with Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf and D12 around him lyricism will probably be at least decent. Plus, Eminem makes the best of the beats he gets such that i think any good production will make him make dope music!

Producers i would love

Justice League
Alchemist
Havoc
Dj Premier
Eminem
Mike Shinoda

Artists
Andre 3000
Tech N9ne
Yelawolf
Nate Kane Mathers

I pretty much want him to be creative on this album and focus on something thats not HIM. Wether light and funny like I'm on everything or hard rap like Dispicable or political commentary like Mosh i just think Recovery sorta put him in a space where he's exhausted interest in his personal life.
