Any Tyga fans?

Postby FreeSpeech » Jun 2nd, '12, 21:32

OK, on a lot of his shit, Tyga is awful and corny. But when he's on a dope beat and tries, he MURDERS it. Flow is on point. Similar to KDot actually. Anyone else fuck with the Last King? Hihs album was inconsistent but dope.

Press play, trust me. Amazing song.

He has a lot of ill songs. Black Crowns with Nas and Wale, Lil Homie with Pharrell, etc.

That song was kinda dope!
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

I know right? Tyga's nothing amazing, but he can kill it when he tries and gets a hot beat.

Some of his songs are alright but as a rapper he's pretty bad.

I don't mind him. Him & Drake are the only YM artists I listen to.

Ive seen him in concert and the dude can get a crowd hyped.. His songs are great for that. Unfortunately I think that might be the extent of his talent.

Rack City defines the term "so bad it's good", I actually don't mind Tyga as much as a lot of others, but the track in the OP is corny as fuck to me, I'm sick to death of woeful, overly-dramatic hooks and this pseudo-motivational shit on hip hop tracks

Rack City is a very good song imo. Also, I like Young Money´s Roger That, where he murders second verse. Is is worth to listen to his album?

I would like to know your opinion of how he killed it... I found that he was very weak on the song with lines like "hotter than the end of August"
