Strange flying objects in the sky

I guess they've never seen a comet before... My guess would be it was just entering Earth's atmosphere but came in at a weird angle, bounced off of it, did it's little swirly thing, but the impact with the atmosphere created enough heat to evaporate it (after all, comets are just a bunch of ice and rock) and cause the little trailing swirls.

Definitely a natural phenomena; no alien ship or ballistic missile.
