Rita Ora is already massive in my country (the UK). She's been well-known for a few years in the UK underground urban scene, but she's now having mainstream success, and had two #1s already.
Her first one was Hot Right Now, a drum and bass song, produced by DJ Fresh. It's pretty good, but most hip hop fans probably won't like it.
Her second one was R.I.P. It's produced by Stargate (who work with Rihanna and also produced songs like Black and Yellow) and Chase & Status (an electronica group, who also work with Rihanna a lot). The lyrics of the song were written by Drake, and it has a rap verse from a UK rapper called Tinie Tempah (those in the US might know his song, Written in the Stars). This song I think is fairly appealing to hip hop fans, due to the beat mainly.
However, she's already done a generic electropop song...

It's called How We Do, and it's already getting popular. It entered the Hot 100 a couple of weeks ago, and slowly getting more and more popular. It's a shame that this song is going to be the first song from her that most of the public hear (and, as a result, will be what most people will want to hear from her for the rest of her career). It's unfortunately not as good The Game's song of the same title lol.
