I thought the same for a long time but when you consider that it's the moral police who usually question Em(more than the gays themselves), Em could be just making fun of their "Mr Politically correct" characters and the fact that he didn't bash gays directly in the whole song (other than that Versace line, but it was more like a joke) rather he was just mocking how the moral police would criticize him --> "his words are like axes that are meant to chop the heads of the minority people Blah blah blah"

I went deaf, and my left ear started to bleed

She beat / me over the head with the re mote control
opened a hole, and my whole brain fell out of my skull
I picked it up and screamed, "Look bitch, what have you done?!?"
