battling is bigger than its ever been and this event was supposed to show that.
having bis involved was supposed to take it to ungodly heights but he blew it.
but it did get some attention like they wanted lol...
but their not saying this is gonna make him retire and all that, their saying he should be so embarrassed
and anyone he beefs with with ether him with this because he looked like such a dumbass, and he always calls
people out. he brought his slaughterhouse beef into... and then looked like a failure
yeah battlers go back to the studio, cause thats where the masses of fans are, and the money.
but if your like saurus/illmac theyve made like a mil off battling. they still do it just cause they love it.
as said before, just cause your not up to par with the info, doesnt mean its dead
Iight, good response, I admit, I was wrong, I respect musicians man, I don't even give a shit, I like how they are trying to bring back the Hip-Hop Shop days.

He's actually got like 3-4 projects going on right now. Just wanted to point that out lol.
Yeah man, I really enjoy his solo work, especially Rip the Jacker.

XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
It kinda does, though his career has been dead for over 8 years. But seriously, theres no way people laughing at him could help his career at all, the publicity is not very big and its entirely negative. Kinda feel bad for the guy but he really is a horrible person and has shown that at every turn.
Yeah, it's been "dead" as in he gets little attention, but he still gets attention.
I'd kill to even have his exposure.

Dude battling is bigger and
better than ever these days. Take a look at Scribble Jam, and the Rap Olympics in '97, and then look at KOTD, Smack URL, etc. in 2012 and tell me which one is better.
I agree with both of you, to be honest. I miss the battling with a mic in hand and it just being 60 second verses. Having weeks to prepare for an upcoming opponent gives so much time for that particular rapper to think of stuff. For me, the authenticity of it is disappearing - it's dope as fuck, but it's authenticity isn't as evident for me.
That applies to everything in life though, not just rap battles. Things now compared to 15-20 years ago seem tame in comparison to me. Probably because I'm a nostalgic twat muffin.
Yeah, good point, Menzo.
