Neither team played well, It was a boring game. We had much more possession of the ball but we have problems scoring goals.

We played good throughout the whole tournament. Spain took the ball and hid it from us like they always do-but what`s the deal with the fucking ref!? Ćorluka was fouled after that corner kick and that Ramos tackle on Madžo? Rakitić should have scored.

They're missing David Villa massively.

They are missing him yea, but I think the main problem is that teams now have a set strategy against Spain which is to press their midfield as much as possible, keep their men behind the ball and stay tight at the back while looking to make breaks and counter-attacks at any given opportunity. This obviously limits the game massively and Spain can't find a way through. It's difficult because if most teams go toe-to-toe with Spain they'll lose, so they tend to use this strategy against Spain which lets Spain have all of the possession in the midfield but doesn't allow them to do anything with it. It's interesting because most of the time neither Spain nor their opposition will change the way they play and that's why their matches are often boring 1-0's, with Spain having all the possession but creating few chances.

To be fair, it was a pretty shit all round performance from Spain. I'm not defending Torres, but he is a poacher. If you don't give him anything to latch onto, he can't do much. He was getting into some decent positions though.
