I have no complaints about the goal, we can go on back and forth about if it was regular or not. Penalty on Ćorluka, Ramos tackling Mandžukić and pretty much ref giving Spain fouls all game long. Just like Barcelona, Spain is a great team that doesn`t need that kind of help. Remeber the penalty on Sergio Busquets (the most annoying player in the world) aginst Milan in CL last seson? Wasn't there an offside leading up to the shot JT cleared off the "line"? That's what the commentator suggested. If so, justice was served. Regardless that was a fantastic attempt by JT. Credit where credit's due.

Lescott and Cole had solid games. Young also had a good game, he provided good cover for Cole. At least we don't have to play Spain lmao.

You shouldn't mate. We have the most ignorant players out there who think they're the shit cause they play in a national team. They get like 300 000 euros a month or even more for some particular players, all they care about is money, most of them make me sick. Yeah Italia, England, Spain or Germany do have some very rich players, but they deserve all their money because they play with their heart, they give everything they can until the end of the game unlike us.

Some journalists over here in France are saying that regardless of our horrible and awful performance tonight, we always somehow manage to wake the fuck up against the best teams. Hopefully they're right, I remember back in 2006, everybody doubted us, even Spain who'd been saying for months that Zidane was a has-been couldn't believe their eyes when we kicked them out of the tournament and reached the final. We don't have the same team as the one from 2006, but there's still a little hope who knows.

Yeah, after I typed that I just got lost in memory and sighed. He was so gracious with the ball and like...he seemed relatively modest. I feel like those stand-out stars today have ego's, even if they don't show it, you know it's there somewhere.

I feel the same.. Yet I don't really know where Messi hides his ego. There has been some signs of it, but he cleary hides it. I guess he's just not that friendly guy.. I don't know.

Zidane also killed it against Brazil back in 2006.

Yeah, Zidane was just amazing. I remember as a kid I bought a Juventus scarf only because he played there... or that I kind of "rooted" for Real Madrid only because he played there.

Yeah but honestly...without Zidane that year, I don't think France would've made it that far. He literally carried them through the knock-out stages and practically manhandled Spain and Portugal on his own.

Zidane definitely helped us in a significant way, but we shouldn't forget the other incredible players that we had : Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Lilian Thuram (One of the best defenders of all time) or even Claude Makelele. I miss them all.
