Even Ramos' freekick was better than all three of C. Ronaldo's.

And tell me about how Portugal did anything? They didn't have ANY good chance. Did Spain? Not really, but better than Portugal. Yet, I wouldn't say Spain deserved it (if we're looking at only the 90 minutes). Neither did. If Portugal scored, I wouldn't say "Undeserved". I would accept it. Same thing if it went the other way.

But in the extra-halfs Spain was a lot better than Portugal, had several good chances. Remember that Iniesta one? So yeah... during extratimes, Spain definitely would deserve a win.

Disagree?

No need to mention extra time. This game was such a snore. After extra time, Spain definitely deserved it more so, but this game was just too boring for me to continue talking about it.

Yes, I saw that part, which is why I said "Yet, I wouldn't say Spain deserved it (if we're looking at only the 90 minutes). "

All Ronaldo managed to do was to get Spain players handed out more Yellow cards, fucking drama queen. Spain could scored earlier, though.

Maybe how Spain play is boring for many people, pass pass pass and much possession of the ball.

But that's the way we play and that style led us to be champions, to winning tittles. Would you change something that is helping you to win? As Andrés Iniesta says:

"For us, the play that we have, the way we have of doing things, is what has led us to our success, to winning titles.

"We feel identified with our style of play, and a few years ago this style changed the history of Spain for good."

You know what is REALLY frustrating,Del-bosque still starting David Silva after 4 duds in a row,he was only good against italy and his goal against Ireland was well-taken,but why not start Fabregas behind Torres and bench silva, how the fuck do you put on wingers to add width when you do not have a striker in the box,is the winger supposed to cross to the defenders.

FUCKING FUCK SPAIN!
The devil ain't on a level same as him!

But.. They didn't play like that yesterday. They were struggling.

It was a semifinal , what did you expect?? the players are tired at this point and Portugal would not be a sister of mercy.

I think everyone expects Spain to play like the fucking Harlem Globetrotters and be demolishing teams 5-0 every match. Portugal didn't have one single shot on target during the whole match, yet people are still whining about Spain going through and saying they didn't deserve it. Pure bitterness.

Portugal were more effective in getting the ball up, but that's all... they'd lose it pretty fast. They didn't even have any " :o "- chances, which Spain did.

Yeah I mean Portugal definitely had a good go, and I wish more teams played against Spain as openly and with the conviction that Portugal showed in the first half. They were definitely the better side for the first 45 and made Spain look vulnerable. But overall, I don't see how any team who fails to test the keeper during 120 minutes of football deserve to win the match. Spain were poor for most of the 90 minutes but they still came the closest to scoring out of the two sides and played much better in extra time. Portugal seemed to be happy for it to go to penalties.

I got so fuckin angry at him, why couldn't he be this calm and confident in the CL semi-final :shakehead:

I am angry at him all the time, so it feels weird to support him on Spain

I was so nervous when he stepped up to take the penalty. Everyone had the CL semi-final in mind, so did I... and bam, he plays it safe and chips it instead of shooting, so the ball wouldn't go outside of the goal.

Ah, Ramos.. you Ramos :flutter:

No doubt. I was afraid Portugal might take it after 1st half was over. I wouldn't have complained if they did. Fortunately they didn't have shots on target the whole match, and in the extrahalfs Spain showed that they deserved it.

^ LOL Yeah Buffon is a god. :shifty: I think today's game will be great. Menzo, I think we are the only ones left supporting Italy so they must win just for us. I swear if they do, I'm gonna change my avi to a Pirlo (or whoever was the man of the match) picture.

Good luck to y'all! Today should be exciting. I just hope none of the team will crush the other one like 3 4 or-0. lmao
