Insulting is so not mainstream, nahimean? The concept of beefing has changed, it's now done to have some attention.

He's more of a well rounded artist and can make a wide range of music and sound unique in his own way where as yelawolf sounds and flows almost the same on every track no matter what the beat is. It takes a special person to really get into yelawolf (I'm a yelawolf fan too so don't go crazy on me). I havent liked much of mgk's new music since hes signed to bad boy, wild boy is corny but hey when you go mainstream the labels make u do that shit.... His Lace Up mixtape before he was signed is very much worth listening too tho

I disagree with like everything in this entire post and I like both. Yelawolf is more well rounded and has a wider range of music not even close (Arena Rap doesn't sound like Stereo doesn't sound like Trunk Muzik doesn't sound like Creekwater doesn't sound like Radioactive doesn't sound like Heart of Dixie). MGK is all about standing up for yourself and the underdog and whatever, and it's nice but he's not very versatile. And Wild Boy was cool lol.

This basically, the first post in this quote obviously hasn't listened to a lot of Yelawolf. He is one of the most versatile in the genre wether you like his music or not, however MGK isn't as unique as claimed. To be honest, when I first heard MGK I thought he was just some other white, internet rapper with that completely unoriginal, disgusting delivery. Now I know some people can't get into Yelawolf's delivery either but I love it, and if you hate it or not it is unique. Yelawolf over MGK everyday, every aspect, but to each his own. Also, I enjoy Yelawolf more as a person, he's so down to earth where as MGK feels like a stupid ass hole (for the sake of just being one) that poses. He seems very fake to me, it's as if he's trying to be someone he's not, and that's a major turn off as well. However, MGK has some funny parts in his interviews but he still messes up that redeeming quality by being plain out annoying during the rest of the damn things. By the way, right after he made the old man comments he pussied out of the beef, probably cause he doesn't want Eminem involved (the idiot might have actually believed Em would get involved anyway). Here's the proof, I don't believe the story of him trying to be the better man though: http://www.ballerstatus.com/2012/07/06/machine-gun-kelly-yelawolf-cool-talking/

Finally, if you honestly believe MGK > Yelawolf, lets agree to disagree. We all have different tastes and I'm not trying to attack you. However, I will admit MGK is one of the only rappers that I plain out hate as a human being and can't stand to even hear on a track without being repulsed. I was so fucking mad when Wild Boy's hook got stuck in my head when it came out. Fucking friend showed that shit to me and I felt like banging my head against a wall. So, I'm being honest. I detest MGK, I wish he'd fall off the earth and that's not just because of the Yelawolf "beef." It was even before that but the conflict with Yelawolf only add fuel to the flames. I mean I hate a lot of rappers' abilities and the fact that they make shit music, but the only two rappers I hate also as people are MGK and Lil Wayne. It's a short list that's hard to get on, and MGK ranks number one. Lil Wayne actually had some okay lines in his career at least, and some of his music was enjoyable (not to much of it), but as a person he's always been an idiot. There are however rappers that I just don't give a fuck about because they are so repulsive, I guess they could be added to my personal hate list:

1.) MGK
2.) Lil Wayne
3.) Canibitch
4.) Pimp C (hate him as a person, good rapper doe)

i feel like if Yela was the more well rounded one MGK wouldn't be the more successful one. He doesn't even have an album out and his street buzz/popularity is twice as big as Yela's. Besides myself I have ONE friend who likes Yelawolf and almost everyone i know is into mgk. I'm not saying he's more talented or is a better rapper I'm just saying at the end of the day being a well rounded artist = having the ability to connect to wide range of audiences. Yes i know yelawolf had no promotion but considering mgk hasnt dropped anything on bad boy yet to even get promotion its a fair comparison.

He dropped singles and an EP... Anyway, connecting to a larger audience doesn't say too much about skill, but it says a lot of wether you are a fad like Waka (lets be honest, MGK won't get too big and either will Yelawolf) or if you are an untalented rapper going off massive hype (Waka fits here again too, so does Soulja Boy, and Titty Boy (2 Chainz) will be on this list too, even though he's catchy.) A larger fan base doesn't mean more than you, the artist, having a cult. This is something MGK has, and about the only thing Yelawolf doesn't. That's the difference. Yelawolf > MGK talent, MGK > Yelawolf loyal fan boys.

This just might be me but I listened to 100 Words And Running, Lace Up, Rage Pack, Half Naked & Almost Famous and didn't like a single song. That's not even a joke, I mean the only ones that caught my ear are Invincible (the hook) and Chasing Pavements (honestly MGK's only good track, in my opinion anyways).

Edit:
Another thing, Lace Up is so corny and gay and so is Kells. I hate when he says that shit, the dude just honestly pisses me off.

Well whatever suites you, don't take my hate of MGK as an attempt to make you hate him as well. If he's your thing then I'm fine with that. I'm just giving you my opinions.

I've listened to both MGK and Yelawolf but my choice wasn't hard to choose. Yelawolf for sure.
