Nah, he would've been featured. Even in the "In This World" he only said a couple of verse and maybe sang "In This World" a few times and he was featured.

Damn, that's absolutely dope as hell but I won't compare it to Radioactive, I love both things.

Yela is just a beast, he just made a mixtape that has quality like album, that's absolutely amazing.

BIG UP to WOLF. :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

I hope the whole Shady family (including D12) will be on the new Em album. Please, it'll have to happen!

BTW: My favorite song from the mixtape is "Be The One" too, that shit is crazy as fuck.

Yeah, that's quite creepy, I lived that too.

^Yela voluntarily made Radioactive and handed it to the label, he wanted it to be commercial and get airplay, and it seems like SH is happy to make the kind of music they're making, too. I don't think anybody "made" them do anything.

Lello wrote:I dunno, I get feelings from this mixtape that he hates how he is being treated in the label, and this could mean something other than just not promoting

"I'm all about figuring sh** out, for myself and my art. My last project, Radioactive, was deliberately given to Interscope ... and it was on a f***ing silver platter, given to them to work," he explained to Rude Jude. "It was radio records after radio records, purposely, was my attempt. These motherf***ers have given me one single in 11 months. I don't really understand where the importance is lined. That's just me being real, every artist gets frustrated at some point, I imagine.

"I fully comprised, but I let everybody know, even prior to doing Radioactive, what I was doing. I was being honest with my fans," Yelawolf continued. "I was like 'Yea, I'm letting people in. We're gonna so something more melodic.' The album's called 'Radioactive' -- to be 'active' on 'radio'. Like, it was a purposeful shot for me, because I felt like I had a window to use. Like, I could gain ... pull some people in with this sh**. I don't know what the f*** they're doing up there. Shady's great, I love Shady Records. I just think there's some sh** going on upstairs."

I think it's obvious he's not happy with how the label's treating him, but I don't think there's any reason to try and come up with something that isn't there. Not being promoted is a perfectly legit reason to be angry with the label, and we have no reason to believe there's more to it.

Yela and SH are not sell outs... No one made yela make a radio friendly album he did it him self sadly it did not hit main stream really or get much play.

You have two conflicting points.

Yelawolf isnt doing it for money. Therefore he isnt SELLING out. Doing it for exposure and doing it for money are two different things.

You don't have to necessarily do it for money to sell-out.

Selling-out has long been used in a less literal sense than the phrase suggests. To sell-out now can just mean / often means to compromise your morals, integrity or self for X.

As an artist, if you create art that you're not happy with or, which you consciously compromise for a reason other than the art itself... that's selling-out....

As it's 'selling' (compromising / trading) your integrity / true self / own opinions / taste for the sake of... fame / money / exposure etc.

Just like the metaphor of 'sold my soul to the devil' that is often used to refer to fame. Very few people probably quite literally mean they sold their actual soul to the devil, it's just a metaphor for the concept of trading privacy, integrity and or / other for the sake of fame or X.
