Anyone who's good with computers...?

Every like 15 mins a pop up comes up on my computer that says something like "A Script on this page is causing your computer to run slowly." Then it gives me the option to continue or stop the script. If I continue, my computer is slower than a fucking turtle, and if I press stop script, everything freezes, and if I'm listening to Itunes or whatever, MY FUCKING SONG STARTS OVER. This happens literally every 15 minutes and i'm sick of it. How do I get my computer to stop doing this?

By the way, sorry if this was a stupid question. I know next to nothing about computers and how they run.

Yeah I thought of that but when I did a scan there was nothing so I really have no idea lol.

What browser are you using? Operating system? RAM? What's your CPU? How many question marks is too many?????

Go to Task Manager and look through the processes,end whatever is hogging out too much memory,plus i wont mind more information.

Try installing the newer version of flash. I used to experience the same problem while using IE, at times. But, once I updated flash, it was all right.

If you're using IE, switch to Firefox.

Or anything that's not IE, really. I bet you'll find that some of those pesky problems don't occur anymore.

That's a bit of a leap though.

Things like that don't happen--or stop happening--without a reason. If you would answer the questions I asked above to the best of your ability, I can possibly give you an idea of how to rectify the situation if and when it presents itself in the future.

I can't really help you with question marks..

but with ellipses any more than three is a big no-no

Yeah it only happens when i'm on TR which is like my most visited website so it's always happening

If you're not good with computers then get a Mac - easiest solution.
