I'm not taking anything away from his humour appealing to others, but rather myself. I find him boring and most of his self-reliant jokes to be extremely forced. It's not difficult to make fun of clips whilst applying explicit or ballsy comments to accompany them, I'm 100% confident any comedian can do what he does.

Perhaps he's funnier than I take him to be? I don't know lol I was never the type of person - actually, I still am not the type of person who finds a lot of things funny. I personally find innovative, thought-provoking, storytelling and/or spontaneous humour to be hilarious. Satirical, dry, tongue-in-cheek humour is probably my favourite kind though and if it's accompanied with one of the aforementioned qualities I stated, then dope.

And I even said the show has its moments lol. I don't hate it at all, I just don't find his jokes to be that funny. Not to mention that audience laugh is so redundant and dull, even if it is in front of a live audience, it sounds so robotic and fake it makes me wanna rip the hair outta my asshole and glue it over my lip as a mustache. Yep, it makes me wanna do that.

I found that funny too, I recall at least twice he's blatantly taken shots (that were hilarious of course) at dane cook and his stand up

Anyway, comedians are comedians and will use any scenario to their advantage. If they find a button they've pushed, they're gonna punch it so get used to it. People look for excuses to get angry these days...it's almost as if nowadays, people feel like we're too intelligent to say crude things and what was once controversial 10-15 years ago is slowly becoming controversial again. The world works in cycles.

While it's possible a lot of other comedians could pull of his show, I think he does a damn good job so I'll leave it at that. And his stand up is hilarious so he's def more than someone who can make cracks at videos.

I agree with your last paragraph a lot. I mean look at em, he pushes buttons simply to push them and cause a reaction.

I guess with Tosh's comment, it's as much that people will find it hilarious as it will offend others. It's one of those scales, and I didn't hear the comment but I'm sure my laughter woulda been tenfold had he made fun of something not offensive, and at the same token, made anyone who was offended that more pissed off than had he made a joke about something non-offensive.

I'm with you Menzo, he simply isn't a funny or intelligent comedian. He's nothing on Louie CK, Mitch Hedberg, Ricky Gervais, Demetri Martin... To name some of my favorites. Dane doesn't do smart comedy either, but he does tell stories in an amusing way.. His jokes aren't that funny though.

Idk how people don't see the cleverness and undertones in Tosh's humor. Blows my mind. On the surface, it may seem slightly juvenile, but the man is sharper than a double-edged sword. Plus if you can make C.K. laugh, you must be good.
