That beat in the chorus sounds like water on the swimming pool ;) Cool.

Apparently it's just a free song for the fans. Kendrick said it wasn't good enough for his album.

I just love his voice in general, it's so unique. I can't wait for this album. October 2, 2012 couldn't get here any slower. Anyway, I just hope this isn't a single for obvious reasons. It's not innovative or as unique as Kendrick can make music. He can do infinitely better, however if there is an iTunes download I'll buy it to support a real artist who actually cares about paving his own lane, not selling out, and being himself. I hope his album is a classic, and that being said...it was a dope ass song. I've been swimming to this.

Don't like the hook. Everything else is great.

That second verse :worship:

i ddnt like the song and i love Kendrick Lamar.... was even afraid of coming in here knowing everybody will be like "He killed it" and i'm just thinking... not quite. Almost like the Power Circle track where I thought Wale was on some other level shit and everybody was rooting for Kendrick!!

Now that i have heard its not on the album i hope it is the only one of its kind. To be honest, it sounds a bit like he copied the structure of No Make-up but ddnt quite match the awesomeness of smooth transition. I have found that quite problematic in his last few releases where he seems to completely ignore the beat and just goes where his mind is telling him. Luckily his "in-house" producers can compliment that spontaneity at times and therefore the album should be The Recipe dope

I agree it's not on the level of "No Make-Up (Her Vice)," but I disagree with the rest. Anyway it's your opinion and it's not like this track even matters anyway since it's not on the album.

I think the hook is the best part tbh.
